Mango is known as the 'king of the fruits' because of its unique delicious flavor, fragrance, taste, attractive color and health promoting qualities, very rich in vitamins and minerals. Try this very simple mango salad recipe. Serve it with your favorite fried dish.
- 2 pcs ripe mangoes
- 6 pcs ripe tomatoes (chopped).
- 1/4 cups chopped leeks or spring onions
- lettuce
- 2 tbsp sukang pinakurat or any vinegar
- 2 tbsp sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
1. Peel mangoes. Scoop out flesh. Set aside.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine together mango pieces, chopped tomatoes, chopped leeks or spring onions, and lettuce.
3. To make the dressing, just combine the vinegar and sugar. Season with salt and pepper. Pour the dressing to your salad. Serve.
