Dinner with the gang is more fun with Barkada Boys Pares ala Standard!
- 1 kilo beef brisket, cubed
- 4½ cups water cornstarch-water slurry
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 5 pcs star anise
- 2 pcs banana blossom
- 1 tsp whole peppercorns
- sesame oil, to taste.
1. Combine all ingredients excerpt cornstarch slurry and marinate for 1 hour.
2. Transfer to Standard Pressure Cooker and add water.
3. Follow the Standard Pressure Cooker method of cooking. Pressure cook for 20 minutes.
4. When pressure cooking is done and cooker is opened, take out beef and boil sauce.
5. Thicken with cornstarch slurry and return beef pieces.
6. Serve hot over garlic rice.
