Blended drinks are always fun. This cocktail with its freshly cut pineapple, buko juice and meat tastes so uniquely Pinoy. It will remind you of the shakes you grew up with. Plus the rum will make you giggle. All you need is a good,high-functioning blender to make this awesomely quirky drink.
- 1 fresh pineapple, cut and sliced(reserve some for garnish)
- 1 fresh buko, shredded
- 1 to 2 cups of your choice of white rum (depending on how strong you like your cocktail)
- 3 tbsp condensed milk
- 3 cups ice cubes
1. In a blender, combine pineapple, buko meat, rum and condensed milk. Add ice cubes.
2. Blend to a smooth consistency.
3. Transfer to a pitcher for your guests.
4. If you wish to garnish, you can add the husk of the buko or a sliced pineapple on each glass.
