Pasta-rrific! Make spaghetti an easier and more affordable experience everyday!
- 1 pack DEL MONTE Spaghetti Merienda Pack
- 4 cups water
- ¼ cup sugar
- ½ cup confectioner’s sugar
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ cup oil
- 1 tsp oil
- Vanilla ice cream (optional)
For the fries:
- 1 pack DEL MONTE Spaghetti Merienda Pack
- 4 cups water
- ¼ cup cheese powder
- ½ cup oil
- 1 tsp oil
1. Boil 4 cups water with sugar. Add DEL MONTE Spaghetti. Cook for 8 minutes.
2. When cooked, drain well and drizzle with 1 teaspoon oil. Spread on a tray and allow to dry for 5 minutes. (If to be used for pasta fries, omit the sugar when boiling the pasta).
3. Heat oil at medium. Deep-fry five pasta strands (5 grams) at a time until just brown. Drain the fried pasta oil on paper towels.
4. Combine confectioner’s sugar and cinnamon. While still warm, gently press fried pasta into the sugar mixture to coat or cheese powder(or desired flavor) for fries.
5. Serve immediately or top with vanilla ice cream.
